About This Video

U.S. Olympic medalist Kim Severson shares three types of cross-training exercises to reach and maintain fitness in the three-day event horse—no jumps required. Severson takes you outside the ring to show how you and your horse can make use of natural terrain and flat work to stay mentally fresh and achieve better fitness for the demands of three-day competition.

For more information about three-day eventing, please visit the United States Eventing Association and US Equestrian’s eventing page.
