Scholarship

In an effort to fullfill the vision of bringing the joy of horse sports to as many as people as possible, US Equestrian offers a scholarship for one High School Senior preparing to enter a College or University in the following year. Scholarship funds are provided for students to help further his or her education through either an equine related degree or participation in a collegiate equestrian team. Scholarship applications are available in the forms and publications section below, and must be completed and returned to the USEF office on or before the printed deadline.

Learn to Ride

Locate a trainer certified through the USDF Instructor/Trainer Program, USEA  Instructors' Certification Program (ICP), USHJA Trainer Certification Program, American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA), or Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).  These organizations are affiliates or alliance partners of the USEF. However, the certified instructors are independent entities and are not agents of USEF. School Riding Programs

As many students know, there is not always time for other sports or extracurricular activities when you ride horses. Fortunately, many schools are now starting to incorporate horseback riding into their offered activities. Throughout the country various high school riding associations have developed to promote equestrian riding teams and clubs to junior, middle and high schools.
